They denied initial reports that they were an item, but Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig will have a hard time doing the same now that they’ve been pictured together. The two reportedly spent Christmas together.

In November this year, Weisz confirmed that she and her fiancé, film director Darren Aronofsky, were calling it quits after 9 years, as reports started to pick up speed that she and co-star Daniel Craig were romantically linked.

At the time, they denied the story, saying they were only working together and were the best of friends. Plus, Craig was also engaged to longtime partner Satsuki Mitchell.

The Daily Mail says News of the World has pictures of Craig and Weisz walking hand in hand, while eyewitnesses confirm for the tab that they did spend Christmas together, on a romantic holiday.

“Pictures in the News of the World today show the pair, who star together in Dream House due to be released next year, laughing and holding hands while away together in Somerset,” the Mail says.

“Craig, 42, and Weisz, 40, were pictured bundled up against the cold as they went for a stroll by the £1,000 a week cottage near Yeovil. According to sources, they left the cozy bolthole on Christmas Eve and headed to the local pub,” the same publication reports.

Eyewitnesses are telling the British media the two were acting very much like a loved-up couple, thus confirming initial reports that they were “smitten” with each other.

Apparently, while Weisz broke up with Aronofsky approximately two months ago, Daniel and Satsuki simply cooled off and then decided to end their romance earlier this year.

Daniel and Rachel have been close friends for a very long time, but they’re believed to have started dating while shooting for their upcoming movie.

“Daniel and Rachel looked like a romantic couple in a film. They were laughing and hanging on to each other’s words and stopping to take photos of each other,” an onlooker tells the British media about their recent holiday.

“They were clinging to each other like honeymooners. The chemistry was obvious,” another eyewitness adds.
