14 DAY TRIAL // Prosecution star witness in the George Zimmerman trial, Rachel Jeantel, has put on a bit of a show during her second day of cross-examination.
As I told you yesterday, on the first day she was on the stand Jeantel admitted to getting mixed up about what Trayvon Martin said during his last phone call.
This time, she was asked if Martin planned on attacking Zimmerman. Defense attorney Don West suggested that he could have planned to do so without disclosing his intentions to Jeantel.
"That's Real Retarded Sir!" she responds, while speaking in a very, very soft voice. She stresses that he wouldn't have lied to her.
According to Fire Andrea Mitchell, her response is typical for a teen from a low income, low education family.
