Final Fantasy fans owning an Windows Mobile device will be happy to find that one of the addictive mini-games included in this saga has been successfuly ported on Windows Mobile-based phones. Developed by zyphuris55, an XDA-developers user, Tetra Master is a fun card game, which intended to relax gamers that were playing the main storyline of Final Fantasy IX. If you haven't played the Playstation version yet, now's your chance to experience one of the best mini-games of FFIX.

Tetra Master has the same features as the original game included in FFIX, but also has some sort of a manual, that actually teaches you how to play the game, in case you never had the chance to play it in FFIX. It seems that the game is still in progress, which means that new features will be added in the future, as the developer of the game is open to suggestions. Things that the developer is currently working on have been already listed on the game's page: wager selector, small glitches and save/load options.

Other features that the game will probably include after a few updates: Manual for how to duel; Level up your skill level; Intelligent AI "rather than random moves"; MUSIC and sound effects; Duel others "friends or random" through bluetooth/ online; Dueling Arena "multiple people join together for a prize"; Text between fellow friends/ duelers; Awards; More screen sizes "VGA and VGA square"; Ability to play the game in portrait and/or landscape; Rotation support with the Gsensor; PC app "so pc people can battle phone people"; Non-touchscreen version.

For the moment Tetra Master requires Windows Mobile 5 or above operating system, and is only compatible with touch screen devices and WVGA screens. The game is free for download and doesn't require any registration.
