Imagine what would happen if you combined Quentin Tarantino’s unbridled creativity with Lady Gaga’s outrageousness. If the latest report is accurate, you don’t have to do that because you will see it for yourself: the director wants the singer in his next film.

Lady Gaga opened the Cannes Film Festival this year and, as expected, Tarantino was also there, which offered him just the right opportunity to make her an offer she will probably (hopefully) not refuse.

The Mirror says that Tarantino is set to have the eccentric singer in his next film and is already pulling all the stops to get on her good side for it.

Of course, it’s not like they’re strangers, come to think of it: Gaga first met the director when she and Beyonce shot the video for “Telephone,” and she asked him for the Pussy Wagon from “Kill Bill.”

“It’s no secret Quentin’s been eyeing up Gaga for a role in one of his up-and-coming films. And now they’re both in Cannes, he’s keen to show off his movie star credentials,” a Cannes source says for the British publication.

For starters, he got Gaga introduced to the ultimate A-list couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who were invited to sit front row at her gig in the opening of the Film Festival.

“Tarantino knows Gaga’s a big fan of Brangelina. When she heard they were both in Cannes, too, she mentioned that she’d love to have them come and watch the show,” the same spy tells The Mirror.

Tarantino worked with Brad on “Inglourious Basterds” and has remained on very friendly terms with him since then, so he just said the right word and he and Angelina attended the Gaga show.

“As one fiery woman to another, Gaga’s always been really into Ange and she thinks the glamorous location of Cannes is just the place for them to get pally,” the tipster adds.

Brad and Angelina were not the only two stars in attendance: Uma Thurman, Kanye West and Johnny Depp were there as well, presumably also because Tarantino pulled the right strings.
