Lady Gaga and Beyonce are out fierce and for blood in the newly released video for their joint collaboration, “Telephone.” The video sees the two singers as two extremely fashionable and extremely dangerous partners in crime, out for vengeance and to bust some crazy dance moves, as E! Online can also confirm.

Directed by Jonas Åkerlund on a script by Jonas Åkerlund and Gaga herself, the 9+-minute video starts with Gaga being thrown in jail for a crime that is not explained but of which fans can get an idea later on. Once in her cell, she’s stripped of the fabulous custom made prison uniform, only for the guard to say something in reference to a rumor that was making the rounds a few months back about how Gaga was both female and male.

After a rather long introduction, used to show how life in a women’s prison would look if all women had Gaga’s sense of style and financial possibilities, she’s bailed by Beyonce, who’s driving the legendary Pussy Wagon used by director Quentin Tarantino in “Kill Bill: Volume I.” They pull up a diner where Beyonce meets a guy who could be her (cheating) boyfriend, played by Tyrese Gibson and, with Gaga’s help, they proceed to poison everybody in it – and then dance like crazy.

“Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ video, featuring the always fierce Beyonce (and directed by Jonas Åkerlund), has finally premiered! We’ve been anticipating this clip for weeks now, something she knows all too well. As she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show last month, ‘What I like about it is, it’s a real true pop event. When I was younger I was always excited when there was a big giant event happening in pop music and that’s what I wanted this to be’,” E! Online writes of the release.

And a pop event this has turned out to be, with the video clocking up at half a million views online in just 12 hours of its release, reports in the media say.
