Brad Pitt shows off his new ‘do on the red carpet at the Producers Guild Awards 2014

After skipping on all the award shows until the Screen Actors Guild 2014 over the weekend, where he made a surprise appearance, Brad Pitt even walked the red carpet the next day at the Producers Guild Awards 2014, where he was nominated for his work on “12 Years a Slave.”

He even spoke to reporters while posing for pictures and, among other things, he revealed that his latest haircut, which looks like something Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from MTV’s Jersey Shore would wear, wasn’t exactly a choice.

“It’s for a part,” Brad said, as cited by Us Weekly. “It’s not a choice!”

The part he’s referring to is his role in the war movie “Fury,” which also stars Shia LaBeouf and is now shooting in London, UK. Both actors play soldiers and, if we’re to believe the many reports online, they’re not exactly having the best time working together.

On a far happier note, Brad won at the Producers Guild Awards 2014, but he and the producers of “12 Years a Slave” had to share the honors with the producers of “Gravity,” because, for the first time ever, it was a tie.
