By the end of the year, PlayStation 3 owners are promised to get a lot of good stuff. Some of it had already been confirmed and dated for quite some time, but most if it still remained in the dark as far as launch date and pricing were concerned. More recently though, Sony has disclosed a bunch of PSN titles to go live by the end of the year - ten of them to be exact.

Courtesy of 1UP.com, here's the full list of PSN games to hit the service by the end of 2007:

Aquatopia Go! Sports Skydiving High Velocity Bowling Mesmerize 1 Operation Creature Feature Pain PixelJunk Monsters Snakeball Toy Home Trials of Topoq

High Velocity Bowling's official description says that gamers will be meeting... well, High Velocity Bowlers, each with a unique personality, skill-set78 and comedic attributes. Using the SIXAXIS wireless controller, players are supposed to 'simulate a real bowling swing with lifelike lane environments.' The game is said to provide a true next-generation feeling of bowling. Players will compete to unlock ten distinctive characters and progress through ten themed alleys on their way to bowling domination. Complete with leaderboards and stats, High Velocity Bowling is all the fun and comedy of bowling . . . . minus the tacky shoes.

How do you simulate the swing exactly...? Not that we don't believe it's possible but it's known that the PS3's controller features less motion-sensitive capabilities than Nintendo's Wii Remote. Anyway, it's also been confirmed that the Christmas Livery and Vehicle and Livery packs for Motorstorm, along with the upcoming map pack for Resistance: Fall of Man are due out this year. More than that, flOw and Folklore are getting new content too, with players of the latter benefiting from not one, but two download packs.

Everything listed (and mentioned above) as downloadable content will be available throughout this holiday season via the PlayStation Network.
