Unveiled in September at the CEDIA Expo, Pioneer's latest line of 3D Blu-ray players has finally made it out, the Japanese company just announcing that it has commenced shipping of the BDP-430, BDP-41FD and BDP-43FD models, all of them featuring the new BD-J resume function and video streaming capabilities.

Compared to other 3D Blu-ray players, Pioneer promises to deliver an improved picture quality as all of its players come with the company's proprietary Purecinema technology that upconverts standard definition video to 1080p resolution as well as with a 36-Bit Deep Color engine.

When used together with compatible content and displays, this technology should deliver more accurate color output and high quality color reproduction.

In addition, all the three models support the latest high-quality audio standards including DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD for improved sound.

Apart from their improved picture and audio quality, Pioneer has added streaming support to all the three models, the Ethernet connection available at the back of the units allowing users to watch YouTube, Netflix and Pandora on-demand content.

Furthermore, the BDP-430, BDP-41FD and BDP-43FD Blu-ray players are WiFi Ready, the AS-WL200 wireless adapter being available as an optional.

Another new feature this range sports is the so-called Continue Mode, which allows users to easily resume watching Blu-ray Discs, including most BD-J titles, where they left off as long as the disc is not removed before turning the power off.

Pioneer also provides an iPhone and iPod touch app for controlling the new Blu-ray 3D players, called iControlAV App, that is available for free in Apple's App Store.

The Pioneer BDP-430 is currently available for a suggested retail price of $299 while the Elite BDP-41FD, featuring an RS-232 port for custom installation access and control, is available for $399.

Featuring an armored chassis and high grade parts, the Elite BDP-43FD is currently available for $499.
