Now here's a phone with a truly useful feature. Philips 9@9K will make it possible to keep on communicating with virtually no worries of ever running out of battery, as the phone can last for up to two months in stand-by mode.

Philips 9@9K is a pretty low end mobile phone, when looking at its specification list. The surprise comes when reaching its bottom, where information about battery life is usually found. The device is capable of lasting up to an amazing 1440 hours in stand-by time, which counts for 60 days. That's two whole months of talking, sending text messages and taking captures with it.

Of course, actual time until the user will have to recharge the battery will be considerably smaller, as he won't actually keep the phone for a whole month just to look at it and never use it. Philips 9@9K is capable of lasting a total of 17 hours of non-stop talk time, which is looks pretty good, but still not great for those that have an unlimited data plan and like to keep on chatting for hours and hours on their mobile.

The handset looks pretty normal and even stylish, at its 14 mm in thickness. Philips 9@9K proves to be a low end device, capable of running in the tri-band GSM network. Moreover, it also includes a pretty small TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity for placing wireless conversations.

The mobile phone also includes a VGA camera, which should manage to take only poor quality captures. Moreover, there is also support for a microSD card as to best store all the personal content that the user might like.

Philips 9@9K sounds like the perfect thing for those who intensely use the mobile phone for communication and have little demands at great camera quality or at receiving the most evolved performances.
