From the long line of hybrid mobile phones, we now give you the NES gaming phone, packed with a D-Pad to make it easier to handle all the action. Mobile gamers should rejoice on the release of this new device, looking pretty fun and high tech at the same time and also trying to bring them the best of mobile gaming.

Mobile phones now come with great processing capabilities. Well, some of them, the ones that manage to handle large applications and should also be capable of running the most evolved games at top graphics. Lenovo I909 tries to be just that, although the producer could have thrown in some more more evolved features as to make the device even more capable.

The handset comes equipped with a 2.4 inch screen, although an even larger one would have been great for making the best of what mobile game shave to offer in terms of graphics. The white and green color combination makes this device look more like a toy and, with all the games and fun it offers, it's certainly not far from that.

At the dimensions of 111.4 ? 50.2 ? 15.5 mm and 112.8 grams in weight, it looks and feels larger than the slimmest handsets. The D-Pad adds even more to this feeling once the user attaches it to the mobile phone. The phone also includes a 2 megapixel camera, which is nothing out of the ordinary but, after all, this is not its special feature.

What makes Lenovo I909 stand out is its software emulator that makes it possible to play NES games on it. This makes a great pair with a nice D-pad controller that attaches to the phone and makes the gaming experience even more engaging and very similar to that of a regular console.

The Lenovo I909 NES gaming phone will be available only in China, with no word on a global release any time in the future.
