14 DAY TRIAL // PhatWare Corporation has rolled out version 2.0 of its notes organizer, PhatNotes for iPhone and iPod Touch. The update brings improved graphics and introduces several new features such as note editor styles and user reminders.
The new release is optimized for iOS 4.0 and makes use of the latest features introduced in Apple's operating system to improve the usability, performance and appearance of the application. PhatNotes now includes the 4.0 version of the WritePad handwriting recognition technology which comes with an improved spell checker and adds new features such as inline gestures and custom menu commands. The application now supports local alarms, so users need no longer be connected to the Internet to use the reminders feature.
The graphics of the software have also been updated. The application icon has been replaced and overall appearance has been improved on devices with high-resolution screens. Furthermore, a newly introduced Styles feature allows users to customize the look of the note editor by changing page, text and ink colors, as well as selecting different fonts with various sizes.
