14 DAY TRIAL // Singer Lady Gaga and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton hate each other with a passion and, by the looks of things, the situation hasn’t changed much after their Twitter spat in August. In a new interview, Gaga claims Perez is out to kill her by blowing himself up in her apartment building.
The two were very good friends until some months ago or, at the very least, civil to each other because it was in their best interest. Things have changed and, as of late, taken a turn for the worse after Gaga saw Perez looking for an apartment in the same building she’s currently residing in.
Hence, she concluded that he was stalking her. In a recent interview cited by Gossip Cop, Gaga elaborates on the topic and explains that the blogger wants to move so close to her because he might want to attempt to kill her.
“It’s fine to hate me afar. Everyone can hate me from afar. But the second you try to move in next door to me, I know you’re getting too close, and it’s not safe,” she says.
“Already it’s stressful not feeling safe as it is. I have lots of security. I get death threats all the time. Some things bring out the New Yorker in me. If you hate somebody and you want to move next door to me, the only thing I can think of is that you’re moving in because you want to blow yourself up,” she adds.
While she reasons that it’s too much of a “coincidence” that Perez is looking for a place so close to her, when there are “thousands and millions of apartments” in NYC, the blogger insists she needs to either lay off the drugs or get her head checked.
“I’ve got my son and mom here with me in NYC and you think I’m going to blow myself up? Stop doing drugs!!” Perez tells Gaga, including a message for her parents as well, reading, “If your daughter ends up dead, it’s from a drug overdose. Not cuz I blew us up!… She’s sick and delusional!”
So far, no word yet on what started this nasty celebrity feud, but all signs point to that it will not die down too soon.
