Summit Entertainment, the movie studio behind “The Twilight Saga,” is desperate not to find itself in a tight spot should the romance between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart come to an abrupt end: so it had the two shot the love scene for the upcoming film first.

We also noted on a previous occasion that the two young actors were in Brazil, where they were getting ready to shoot the much-hyped love scene from “Breaking Dawn: Part 1.”

Amidst questions about what could have possibly made the movie studio be in such a rush to get the scene done, comes a report saying that it was best that way: because Summit fears what may happen to their chemistry if they ever broke up.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart spent approximately a week off the coast of Brazil to film their wedding and honeymoon scenes for ‘Breaking Dawn’,” LimeLife reports.

“The pair traveled with an exclusive pack of film crew and ultra-high security before returning to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to continue filming with the rest of the cast,” the same report notes.

At this point in time, the two must already be on their way back but, judging by the many photos on the set that have emerged online, it was a good idea to shoot that scene now, even if only for the fact that it allowed them some time off (of sorts).

The two have been photographed in bathing suits, laughing and having lots of fun in between takes. And it was precisely this what Summit wanted to capture on camera.

“Often times on films the [love] scenes and the intimacy (between actors who are real-life couples) are shot first to get them out of the way,” “Breaking Dawn” director Bill Condon is quoted as saying.

“There’s always that ‘Oh [expletive] factor’ – what if they break up and we haven’t shot all the intimate stuff yet? It would be awkward for everyone involved,” Condon reportedly said.

The director also revealed that another reason for shooting the love scenes first was to prevent leaks to the media: if the paparazzi get their shots or video leaks online, they have plenty of time to re-do the scenes in question.

“You’re at risk of wrecking an entire movie, especially one like ‘Breaking Dawn’ where the fans are dying to see these [intimate] moments between Edward and Bella,” Condon explained.
