Remember Panasonic’s 4K tablet? Last we heard of it, the device’s arrival was postponed for mid-February, but the company is apparently showing the massive slate with an updated configuration at CES again this year.

The tablet features a 20-inch IPS screen with a 3840 x 2560 pixel resolution backed up by NVIDIA Quadro K1000M graphics. Under the rugged case, Panasonic has laid an Intel Core i7-3687U processor coupled with 16GB of RAM and 256GB SSD to sustain the beast.

Users will have the possibility to choose between getting Windows 8 or Windows 7 Professional, and get the usual tablet specifications like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, Ethernet, an SDXC card slot, HDMI out and a Mini Display Port.

In the front, one will discover a 720p camera, and if you really think you can use a 20-incher to take pics, there’s also a 5MP on the back, as well. Users should get a meek 2.5 hours of battery life out of the tablet, which isn't a lot, especially if you’re engaged in a long project, making this a big disadvantage.

Panasonic says it will sell the Core i7 model for a whopping $7,000 / €5,139. If that’s too much to handle, you should know there’s a “cheaper” Core i5-3437U model with NVIDIA GeForce 745 graphics coming your way this February for just $5,999 / €4,405.
