GH4 pre-orders in the US are scheduled to start on March 17

Panasonic has officially announced yesterday its latest interchangeable lens camera aimed at enthusiast filmmakers thanks to its 4K video capturing capabilities, which make it the first mirrorless shooter on the market to come with such a feature.

While all technical details have been revealed by the Nippon electronics maker, pricing and availability are yet to be officially confirmed. According to the listing on AmazonUS, the Panasonic GH4 pre-orders will start on March 17, and on that date we will also get a confirmation for its price on the US market.

DealsRunner has also discovered the first European website to list the Panasonic GH4 as available for pre-order. According to the Cameranu.nl GH4 listing, the latest Panasonic shooter can be yours for €1,499 / $2,000, confirming the previously rumored price tag.

Panasonic GH4 packs a 16.05MP Live-MOS sensor and a quad-core CPU powered Venus Engine processor especially designed for high-speed signal processing.
