Last time we heard of Palm Treo 750, its launch date had been delayed and the handheld was expected to be launched somewhere in between December and February this year.

Palm Treo 750 fans have had to wait for a long time before seeing this handheld released on Cingular. But this time the Treo 750 is actually coming. A palm presentation slide revealed the launch date of the handheld, which is to be announced on the 7th of January and available starting from the 8th of January.

Customers will be able to get themselves a Treo 750 in exchange for $399 after a two year service agreement and a $100 mail-in-rebate. The handheld will be available at Cingular Wireless retail stores and online, and Cingular also promises a free HSPDA update when available.

The five-band Treo with 3G capabilities comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and Infrared for connectivity, a MiniSD card slot for memory expansion, 65k color TFT touchscreen display with a 240 x 240 pixel resolution and, of course, a QWERTY keyboard.

Powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition, the Treo 750 also sports a 300MHz Samsung processor. It measures 113 x 59 x 21 mm, weighs 154 grams and has a 10-day standby time and 4.5 hours talk time.

So, if faster web browsing and faster access to business applications is your kind of thing, then you will probably like the Palm Treo 750, at least according to Palm.
