Verizon has both Palm phones included in the offer

Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has just put in place some new and appealing offers for its users, at least when it comes to the handsets that come from Sunnyvale-based vendor Palm, namely the Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi Plus. To be more precise, the Palm Pre Plus is now included in the carrier's BOGO promotion, while the Pixi Plus has seen a price cut to $79.99.

Verizon's buy-one-get-one-for-free promotion is already widely known among United States mobile phone users, that's for sure. The carrier started the promotion on its BlackBerry handsets, and has expanded it since to other devices as well, including Palm's Pre Plus and Pixi Plus, both of which are now available on its shelves.

What this actually means is that those interested in purchasing a Palm Pre Plus (or Pixi Plus, for that matter) from the wireless operator, can also choose to get a second Pre Plus for free, though they will have to sign a contract agreement for each device. One way or the other, the offer still seems quite appealing, as it brings a high-end mobile phone for free in users' hands.

As for the Pixi Plus, its price tag has been now lowered to $79.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the carrier. Verizon launched both Pre Plus and Pixi Plus in January, and had the later available for purchase for $99 on contract. Considering the capabilities of the device, the price seemed appealing enough, yet now it is even more attractive, that's for sure.

Not to mention that the Pixi Plus is also available for purchase via the BOGO promotion from Verizon, which means that one can currently get two Pixi Plus devices for only $79.99, though one contract agreement for each of them is still required. Those interested in one of the Palm webOS-based phones from Verizon will find them available on the carrier's website, here for Pre Plus and here for Pixi Plus.
