The Japanese messed it up by sticking the wrong stickers, but this one beats them all...

I've just seen the funniest pictures ever of another mishap involving the PS3, or should I say the Xbox 360 or...; actually, the pictures involve both machines and that makes it twice as funny. Taken by Flickr's Kain at Australian Retailer Harvey Norman, the pictures show a 2 dimensional cardboard display of a PS3. OK, so far so good, I mean nothing unusual to be seen at a first glance, especially in a place where the PS3 console hasn't been released yet.

But, as Kain came closer to the PS3 display, he noticed the strangest thing and immediately took some photos. He was stunned to see that the 2 dimensional cardboard display of the PS3 console was in fact a mask for Microsoft's Xbox 360, all hooked up with its cables and power cord and probably functional on some TV sets in the shop which, as disappointing as it sounds, the photos didn't actually reveal. We just assumed it was sending some images to a screen somewhere because all the machine's cables were hooked up; it doesn't necessarily have to be true, so feel free to take your own guess.

Some would say this is just a funny mishap due to a clueless employee's actions, some would say it's someone's idea of a joke and some would even go as far as saying that it's a whole conspiracy to make a mockery of the PS3 console but the truth is we just don't know this time and we'll leave it the way it is. It's not a first and it certainly isn't going to be the last mishap involving the PS3 or any other console for that matter.
