Since most of us were disappointed to hear that Nvidia has downclocked its upcoming flagship card, the GTX 590, so severely, POV thought about building not just one but two factory-overclocked solutions based on this design, the fastest of which comes clocked at 691MHz.

The cards look pretty much like all the other GeForce GTX 590's that were leaked until now as they pack the same Nvidia reference cooling solution as that used by their competitors.

This is built on top of a dual vapor chamber setup and a high diameter fan, placed in the middle of the card, that provides the two GF110 GPUs with plenty of fresh air.

However, the operating frequencies of the core and those of the memory chips were changed in order to allow for improved performance.

On the two, the POV/TGT GeForce GTX590 Ultra Charged is the faster solution as its GPUs is clocked at 691MHz and the memory runs at 3710MHz while the GTX590 Charged model has a core speed of 668MHz and the memory is run at 3628MHz.

To put things in perspective, the stock version of the GTX 590 runs the two GPUs at 612MHz and the 3GB of GDDR5 video buffer work at 855MHz (3420MHz effective).

Together with the specs, the 4frags online store also posted the prices of the card and the Charged version should be available for 659,1€ while the Super Charged card is listed at 709,00€.

Both feature three dual-link DVI video outputs as well as a mini-Display Port connector and are compatible with Nvidia's 3D Vision technology.

The two GF110 cores used to build the GTX 590 pack together no less than 1024 CUDA processors, 128 texturing units, 96 ROP units as well as dual 384-bit memory buses.

The cards are expected to be officially launched in just a few hours from now, on March 24th at 6am PDT.
