The cycling management will be back, hopefully better

Those of you who fancy managing a pro cycling team and bringing it all the deserved glory, a new chance arises since Cyanide has announced that Pro Cycling Manager - Tour de France 2008 is in the works and it will be released sooner than expected, in June 2008, both for PC systems and PSP consoles. This time it comes with a lot of improvements and we really hope this will be a playable game, unlike the last two titles. Because some of us still remember the excellent hours spent with the 2004 version and want it back!

You already know that you can manage one team to glory (you have 65 to choose from) and all the professional aspects of the season will be handled by you - including, but not limited to, team recruiting, transfers, contracts, training and so on. However, the changes are those that matter the most now, and we really hope Cyanide knew what it had to do and create a really awesome game.

First, the management side of the game has been changed - extra depth and many new elements have been added (such as a new stamina system, a more realistic progression curve for each rider and a new young talent recruiting system with a more aggressive AI). Also, we will see an improved user interface and, of course, some much better graphics. I really hope we won't see bugs. Not even a tiny, little one.

Also, for the first time in the series, "track racing" events are available - this means that you can choose any track you want and challenge your team's track racing skills. Hopefully, all of these will make Pro Cycling Manager - Tour de France 2008 the most complete and exciting recreation of professional cycling ever.

As we said, together with the PC version, a PSP port will be launched and Cyanide promises that it will bring a totally redesigned experience that will take full advantage of the PSP's features. It is not very clear at the moment, but it seems that the portable version of Pro Cycling Manager - Tour de France 2008 will also allow you to race. Well... I guess we'll see this June.
