Tesla's Superchargers are powered by sunlight, provide free energy

It has not been long since we reported on Tesla's unveiling six Superchargers placed in strategic locations across the US.

Later on, we spoke about how these state-of-the-art charging stations would only serve owners of Tesla's Model S, and those who purchased future EV models put on the market by this company.

Recent news on this topic informs us that those lucky enough to own a Model S EV will be able to travel across the US for free.

This is because all of the roughly 100 such supercharging stations which are to be up and running in this country as soon as possible will generate electricity by harvesting sun power.

As Tesla's CEO (i.e. Elon Musk) puts it, those who find themselves behind the wheel of a Model S and future EVs manufactured by this company will be able to travel, “For free, forever on pure sunlight.”
