Marketing company Loyaltybuild has suffered a major data breach. According to a report from Ireland’s Data Protection Commissioner, a total of 376,000 people might have had their full card details compromised.

On Tuesday, we learned that around 62,500 customers of SuperValu’s Gataway loyalty program were affected. However, according to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), over 70,000 SuperValu customers are impacted.

In addition, the credit card details of more than 8,000 AXA Leisure Bank clients are said to have been compromised.

“The details of an additional 150,000 clients were potentially compromised,” the ODPC noted in a statement.

The agency’s investigation has also revealed that the names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers of around 1.12 million people have also been stolen by the cybercriminals.

So far, Loyaltybuild hasn’t provided any details on how the breach occurred.
