14 DAY TRIAL // Angelina Jolie’s busy working schedule prevented her from showing up for fiancé Brad Pitt, to support him throughout the awards season, but she more than made up for it towards the end. Over the weekend, Angelina attended the Independent Spirit Awards with Brad and, one day later, she was on his arm at the Oscars 2014.
She was, undoubtedly, one of the best-dressed actresses of the night, making for a stunning presence on the red carpet.
While Jolie seems to favor the hottest “shades” of black on the red carpet, with just a pop of color (either with jewelry or with makeup), for the other night’s Academy Awards, she went for a pale, shimmering and actually quite revealing Elie Saab creation.

Just Jared says that her accessories were a Ferragamo clutch and shoes from the same brand. The oversized diamond earrings were from Robert Procop Jewels, her go-to jeweler, with whom she had also collaborated in the past on her own collection.
She made sure all eyes were on them by letting her hair down on her back. Jolie, who is undoubtedly a gorgeous woman, opted for natural styling both as regards hair and makeup.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt looked his usually dapper self in a black tuxedo by Tom Ford, which he accessorized with his own jewelry. One day before, at the Independent Spirit Awards, Pitt styled his army-inspired hairstyle in messy curls, which prompted some hilarity online but, for the Oscars, he just combed it back in a slick ‘do.
Many media outlets and fans say that Angelina and Brad were one of the most stunning and best-dressed couples on the red carpet, and we can’t help but agree: as far as fashion and styling go, they were impeccable.
Angelina’s previous Oscars appearance was in 2012, when she wore an Atelier Versace gown with a thigh-high slit that she used to show off her leg in every picture. Angelina Jolie’s Right Leg was one of the biggest memes of that year.
Brad scored an even bigger win once inside, as “12 Years a Slave,” the movie he produced through his Plan B and in which he also had a small part, won the biggest award of the night, the Oscar for Best Picture
