Double-amputee athlete Oscar Pistorius, aka “Blade Runner,” was in court just hours ago after he is believed he shot and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp at his home on Valentine’s Day. The prosecutor will probably charge him with premeditated murder.

Both Pistorius and his family wept as his attorney and the prosecutor argued over bail, The Hollywood Reporter notes. A hearing for that will take place Monday, which means that the athlete will spend the weekend in jail.

Despite earlier reports claiming that Pistorius accidentally shot his girlfriend thinking she was a robber breaking in, it has emerged today that he had shot her 4 times through the bathroom door.

Word also has it that there had been prior reports of domestic violence at his house, for which reason the prosecutor will try and argue that the murder was premeditated.
