14 DAY TRIAL // Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr and actor Orlando Bloom have been together for about three years and, all this time, their relationship has repeatedly generated rumors of an engagement and even secret nuptials. Clearly, they were all refuted one by one. This time, though, it’s for good, as OK! Magazine has confirmation of the marriage proposal.
Word in the tabloids often said that Orlando was not yet ready to commit. If that was ever the case, it seems he finally overcame his fears and proposed to the gorgeous model, as her own brother confirms for the aforementioned publication. The details of the wedding are currently being ironed out, while the couple is yet to make an official announcement.
“Orlando Bloom is engaged to his model girlfriend Miranda Kerr after finally popping the question during a holiday in Morocco. ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star Orlando Bloom and Victoria’s Secrets model Miranda Kerr are engaged after dating for nearly three years.” OK! Magazine writes.
“Miranda’s brother confirmed the news, saying: ‘He’s finally done it. Orlando has proposed. They’re getting married.’ The pair, who have been denying rumors of wedding bells for months, are reportedly planning to tie the knot next summer, although a date has not yet been confirmed. Orlando split with girlfriend Kate Bosworth in 2006 after dating for nearly four years.” the tab further says.
As we also reported a while ago, when it was announced that Bloom had pulled out of the fourth “Pirates of the Caribbean” film, speculation had it that it was Kerr who had asked that of him, as she wanted him to spend more time with her and not allow work to take up so much of his time. Also then, bad mouths were saying that Miranda gave her boyfriend an “ultimatum:” either make a serious commitment to her or they broke up.
