Two Windows Phone 7 devices are on their way to the wireless carrier Orange UK, the company announced officially on Monday, including the HTC 7 Mozart and the Samsung Omnia 7, both set to become available for purchase on its airwaves come October 21st.

The operator would have the new flagship HTC 7 Mozart device available exclusively on its airwaves starting with the aforementioned date, via all retail channels.

Moreover, the company announced that all of its business and consumer customers would have the possibility to purchase the new devices, offering them a wider range of smartphone options and premium service support than before.

On top of that, the carrier announced that the new handsets would come pre-loaded with specific Orange applications, including:

- Orange Wednesdays: 2-4-1 cinema ticket app - allowing you to read reviews, watch trailers as well as redeem 2-4-1 vouchers all from your handset - Orange Maps: Your personal navigation system, offering turn-by-turn GPS guidance - Your Orange: to help you keep up-to-date and manage your Orange account - access help articles and get the latest info on your Magic Numbers - Orange Daily: Bringing you a selection of at-a-glance news, sport and weather content as well as extras such as Wikipedia

The specifications list of the new HTC 7 Mozart includes a 3.7-inch Super LCD touchscreen display that can deliver a WVGA resolution, complemented by Dolby sound and a 1GHz Processor.

Moreover, the new device comes with an 8 megapixels photo snapper with HD video recording capabilities, and with enough internal memory to enable users store music, videos, photos and more.

The handset should land at Orange for free on a £35 per month 24 month price plan that offers 600 any network call minutes, unlimited text, unlimited email, sat nav with Orange Maps and inclusive anytime Internet browsing.

“At launch, Orange HTC 7 Mozart customers will also have the opportunity to benefit from ‘Orange Personal Trainers’, providing dedicated and expert help to ensure customers get the best out of their Windows Phone 7 phones,” the carrier announced.

The Samsung Omina 7 comes with a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display and with a 1 GHz processor, while also set to go free on a £40 per month, 24 month price plan (1200 any network call minutes, unlimited text, unlimited email, sat nav with Orange Maps and inclusive anytime Internet browsing.)

“Orange and Microsoft pioneered the world’s first Windows-powered Smartphone back in 2002, and together we’ve sold more than two million Orange devices running Windows mobile,” Tom Alexander, CEO, said.

“The Windows Phone 7 experience is a step-change for the industry – one that promises opportunity, excitement and choice for our customers,” he added.
