Black Friday is upon us, meaning every retailer out there is hustling to sell you the most stuff at the cheapest prices. Luckily, you don't have to go out in the cold to take advantage of this momentous day, in fact, you don't even have to get up from your chair.

WordPress.com is running a Black Friday sale and it's actually an interesting one. If you buy a premium theme, any premium theme, WordPress.com is throwing in a Custom Design subscription for one year.

That's a $30, €22.4 save, a good bargain if you've been looking to make your blog stand out more.

A premium theme will get you a long way, you get a somewhat unique look, more customization options (usually) and support for more advanced features.

Most premium themes also come with various layout configurations that you can't normally get with free themes. Even so, you may want to tweak the look of your blog even more.

This is where Custom Design comes in since it gives you free range in adding or modifying the CSS of the theme and even using custom fonts from the web.

"This year’s offer is about two upgrades that first saw the light of day during the past twelve months: Custom Design and Premium Themes," WordPress.com announced.

"For the next 24 hours if you pick up any of our Premium Themes we’ll throw in a totally free one year subscription to the Custom Design Upgrade, which would usually cost you $30. Depending on the theme you choose, that’s between 30% and 60% of the Premium Theme’s value," it said.

Don't worry if you have already paid for Custom Design, you get a free subscription for one year anyway, on top of what you've already paid for.
