14 DAY TRIAL // In the aftermath of the custody battle and the media war between Halle Berry and ex Gabriel Aubry, Halle’s current beau, actor Oliver Martinez, whom she’s been dating for 6 months, is having second thoughts about the romance.
A new report in the National Enquirer (story via here) claims the two have been arguing constantly over the past few days – and it’s all because Halle chose to go public with the details on the custody battle.
As we also noted at the time, Halle and Gabriel are now duking it out in court over who should have custody of daughter Nahla – some very serious accusations have also been made in the press, including that Gabriel is an unfit parent because of his flammable temper.
Since all this started, celebrity bloggers were quick to point out that Halle played the media by planting stories to sully Gabriel’s image, like how he’s “borderline racist” and was “abusive” to her.
Martinez saw all this and now he’s no longer sure she’s the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with, the Enquirer writes.
“Halle Berry’s love affair with French movie star Olivier Martinez has hit the rocks as Halle’s child custody battle threatens to sink their relationship. Halle and Olivier are having bitter arguments triggered by Halle’s ugly clashes with Gabriel Aubry,” the tabloid writes.
A source confirms: they’ve been arguing a lot and Halle remains obstinate that she went about the custody thing the right way, convincing Martinez that she’s not the woman he thought her to be.
“They have been fighting constantly. Halle’s mood swings are to blame. She is stressed about her conflict with Gabriel and has been taking it out on Olivier,” the spy adds.
“Olivier cautioned Halle to handle the custody issue behind closed doors, but she proceeded to get in a public mud-slinging match with Gabriel,” the tabloid further reports.
And this side of Halle he doesn’t care for. “Olivier has seen a side of Halle he doesn’t like – and that has got him thinking she isn’t the one for him,” the spy chimes in.
