MobiSystems, the company behind OfficeSuite Pro application, has recently announced a new update of its document editor, introducing Google Docs integration and new features for the dictionary.

Initially launched in July 2010, OfficeSuite Professional is a complete feature-rich mobile office solution, which allows users to create, edit and view Microsoft Word and Excel files.

In addition to the included File Browser, the software now features Google Doc integration, which enables users to remotely access their files. This, however, only works for smartphones running Android 2.0 or higher.

The new version of OfficeSuite Pro 3 for Android adds more features for the included dictionary, which allow users to search for selected words.

The developer has also added localization for Russian language and fixed lots of bugs such as the problem with opening DOC, DOCX and TXT attachments.

Some of the key features of the mobile office solution include:

- support for Microsoft Office 97 to 2010 text documents - support for Microsoft Office 97 to 2010 spreadsheets - ability to create new DOC, DOCX, XLS and XLSX documents - open, edit and save documents in the commonly used TXT and CSV formats - open PPT, PPTX, PPS and PPSX presentations - PDF files viewing - access and open email documents attachments - open ZIP files - own integrated File explorer for easy file and folder management - an unique for a mobile office application feature allows you to look up selected word meaning in a dictionary or a reference book (for text documents only) - enhanced for high resolution Android tablets and netbooks.

OfficeSuite Pro 3 is compatible with all Android 1.5 and higher smartphones, including Android 2.2.

The application can be downloaded for €12.99, while those that already own an OfficeSuite Viewer license and would like to upgrade to OfficeSuite Pro will have to pay just €7.99.
