The massive open-ended role playing game, Oblivion, will soon have PS3 support. Todd Howard, Executive Producer of Oblivion decided to unveil some information about the upcoming release and gave an interview to IGN.

The first question of the IGN interview points to the fact that the game is not a new release and that gamers will not be tempted to purchase and play the game for the PS3. Howard didn't come up with the answer that we were all hoping for, like new innovative graphics or new features introduced, but responded that not everyone owns a Xbox 360 or a PC and that these people might purchase the PS3 and then want to play Oblivion on it.

Todd Howard also revealed that the PS3 version of Oblivion will not have tilt support and that his company will not be releasing any special editions of the game. Only 10-20 hours of extra gameplay in an entirely new quest called the Knights of the Nine will be added on the PS3 version. No extra content will be featured in the PS3 version of the game, as Howard declared that the Knights of the Nine comprise all the new content.

But there still are some good news as Howard added that his company plans to develop and release some new PS3 downloadable content in the near future. He closes by emphasizing that the developers' main focus was the unicorn, and the way it looks. Everything else was secondary for the developer.
