Nokia’s Lumia 800 Windows Phone went up for sale in the UK a few weeks ago, and Nokia has celebrated the launch, and the great sales that the device registered since day one through putting in place a progressive electro pop show.

The star of the show was Canadian DJ deadmau5, and his music was complemented by a visual show on London's Millbank Tower, which was transformed in a giant video wall.

Those who were not there to enjoy the show live can have a look at the video below to learn more on the matter.

After all, it’s not every day that you see a 400 foot tower shrouded in spectacular lights courtesy of a 3D projector.

The entire show took 30 minutes, and managed to impress even the skeptical. The show was viewable from both sides of Thames, and Nokia also broadcast it on its Facebook page.

For this show, deadmau5, who goes by the real name of Joel Thomas Zimmerman, came up with two new mixes.

"The launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 really signals a new dawn for the company, and we wanted to celebrate this with a truly innovative and spectacular event to match this beautiful phone," said John Nichols, director of marketing for Nokia UK, Pocket-lint notes.

As stated above, the new Nokia handset, the very first smartphone that the company brought to the market with Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system on board, has already managed to appeal to a lot of people in the UK.

The smartphone went out of stock at various wireless carriers in the country only a few days following its release, and Nokia partners reportedly increased interest in the handset coming from users.

While there are some analysts who suggest that Nokia will not manage to meet targeted sales volumes, others suggest that the company will push in user’s hands over 2 million units before the end of the year.
