Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia announced today the launch of three new music-oriented handsets, the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic, Nokia 5330 XpressMusic and Nokia 5030. The new devices have been designed so as to offer music enthusiasts all the features they would like to have inside their music-enabled phones.

The new Nokia 5730 XpressMusic comes as the first music-optimized device from Nokia to feature a full QWERTY keyboard, this way enabling users to send messages easy and fast. In addition, the handset also includes a Homescreen for XpressMusic, which is able to deliver access and dynamic information on music, people, games, email and calendar.

On the Homescreen, users will be able to enjoy an improved contact bar that can display up to 20 friends and family members while also offering direct access to music and N-Gage, as well as to other applications like Facebook, Photos, Ovi Contacts, Maps or messaging. The music shortcut offers access to the Nokia Music Store as well as to the music stored on the phone.

In addition, the new handset also includes dedicated gaming keys which are meant to transform the device into a true N-Gage gadget. Users will be able to enjoy direct access to the N-Gage Arena community as well as to preloaded N-Gage games. The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic also comes with the Nokia Mobile Holder CR-110, meant to keep the device firmly in place.

“Combining a connected digital music player like the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic with unlimited access to millions of tracks via Comes With Music means that in addition to their favourite tracks, music lovers can discover, experiment, and keep the new music they find,” stated Jo Harlow, Devices, Nokia. The new device should become available starting the third quarter of the year for an estimated price of 280 EUR before subsidies and taxes.

The second Nokia XpressMusic phone unveiled today, 5330, comes with an attractive design and illumination effects, offering users both the possibility of listening to their favorite music and a way of keeping in touch with their friends through social networks. The device features XpressMusic touch keys on the side of the display, so that users would be able to enjoy direct access to their songs.

The new Nokia 5330 XpressMusic comes with a standard 3.5mm jack, while its battery is able to provide more than 26 hours of playback time. In addition, the handset also offers access to Ovi, Facebook, and MySpace. This music-oriented mobile phone is expected to become available during the third quarter of the ongoing year, with a price tag set at 160 EUR.
