Nokia has started shipping their N77 multimedia computer mobile phone to several countries. This handset features the unique technology of Mobile TV at the highest standards.

Until now, Nokia has been keeping the N77 phone model only for themselves, as shipments have been made only in Finland. During this month, Nokia will also send this handset to Vietnam and India. That is great news for all those that just couldn't wait for the chance to own such a device.

Nokia N77 brings Mobile TV at high performances, with several unique features. "The wide 2.4' flat screen and high quality stereo sound makes it the ideal personal mobile device for enjoying TV programs on the go", said Jonas Geust, head of Nokia Nseries Players Category, Multimedia, Nokia. What this device actually does is take the TV to a further step, that of making it mobile, compact and always at hand.

Nokia N77 offers a 30-second replay. After that, the live TV watching continues. Even more, users have a program guide included in the package, which makes this handset fully integrate all the answers to any TV-related needs that the user might have.

Not only does it provide high quality TV services, but Nokia N77 also brings the best of what a mobile phone has to offer too. It supports Quickoffice document viewers and comes with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Moreover, it has an MP3 player integrated, which also makes sure to complete the entertaining purpose of this handset.

This mobile phone is actually based on the S60 third Edition software on Symbian OS and works on markets where commercial mobile TV services based on DVB-H are accessible to the public. The estimate price that Nokia N77 will be available for purchase is that of 370 euros, without taxes.
