According to the latest news on the Internet, the Nokia N86 8MP, the first mobile phone coming from the Finnish company with an 8-megapixel photo snapper, is expected to become available for purchase in the UK starting this Friday, June 19. While the news comes from a Twitter post, it is still in line with the fact that the handset is already shipping all around the world, as reported before.

For the time being, it seems that there are no details on whether the device will come to other markets as well, thought there are great chances that it will hit the shelves somewhere else too. The Nokia N86 8MP follows shortly after the release of the company's flagship model Nokia N97, which went live in the US before becoming available for purchase in Europe.

The Twitter post that announces the upcoming availability of the handset comes from one of the largest Nokia stores in London. At the same time, it seems that those who would like to order the mobile phone in advance can already do so, with the pre-order price set at £399. There are no details on whether the handset will sport the same pricing when available on the market, though there are great chances that it will.

For what it's worth, the Nokia N86 8MP seems to be a rather great option for a wide range of mobile phone users out there, as it comes with the 8MP camera that also sports a variable diaphragm and is reported to be able to capture images with enhanced depth and sharper details. In addition, the photo snapper also sports Carl Zeiss Tessar optics, dual LED flash and video light, as well as a wide range of multimedia functionalities, while running under Symbian S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2. Stay tuned to learn more on this.
