Nokia has surely had a full day, as it has unveiled a bunch of mobile phones and services at a presentation in London. One of the most expected devices that the Finnish company has released is the N81 phone model which has finally hit the market after months of rumors.

Unfortunately, Nokia has not provided full specifications on this device, so it's still the leaked ones that will reveal most of what people know about it. What they did provide is probably much more important, as what people are actually waiting to hear about this device is the actual date when it will hit stores.

Nokia N81 will come in two versions: normal and with 8GB of internal memory. The same strategy was used in the case of the Nokia N95 multimedia smartphone and seemed to work just fine, as it provided users with the perfect solution for their needs and their pockets too. In either version, it proves to be capable of handling a lot of entertainment applications at their best.

Official specifications reveal the fact that the phone is capable of 3G and WLAN connectivity. Moreover, it comes equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone connector that will make it possible to enjoy its music rendering capabilities. The menu is also something worthy of pride for Nokia developers, as the one used on the N81 phone model is 3D. This makes the phone look highly friendly and pleasant to use.

One highly useful feature is that Nokia N81 has been configured to find, buy, manage and play music and games purchased from the Nokia Music Store and N-Gage games services. This makes it one of the best devices that the Finnish company has to offer at this time and a good one which has truly worth the wait.

The normal version of Nokia N81 will also include a 2GB memory card in the selling package and will cost 360 EUR before subsidies or taxes. The Nokia N81 8GB will retail for 430 EUR before subsidies or taxes. Both versions will start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2007.
