Tesco Telecoms has just added the highly anticipated Nokia N8 to its pre-order deals and advices its customers to register for the upcoming device, which will be available from 22nd October.

The company decided to start the pre-order process early due to high levels of demand as shoppers get their Christmas orders in early.

The telecoms retailer also announced some pocket-friendly contract options, as well as a limited pre-order deal for the N8, which seems to be a good deal for Symbian fans.

Customers can now register at the retailer's website and find out when the N8 will be available to pre-order at a reduced rate of £25 per month on Vodafone and O2, as well earning 1,000 Clubcard points.

If you don't find the time to pre-order the smartphone you will still be able to get the N8, once it hits the shelves on 22 nd October, but you will have to pay a higher rate of £30 per month on Tesco Mobile, O2 or Vodafone.

You will still get your 1,000 Clubcard points on sign up which no doubt will help with the Christmas shopping.

The retailer also announced that pre-orders will be accepted between 09.00am on 15th October and close at midnight on 21st October.

Lance Batchelor, Chief Executive Officer of Tesco Telecoms and Tesco Mobile commented: “The Nokia N8 is one of the most highly anticipated mobile launches of this year, with both the industry and consumers awaiting its arrival with baited breath. We're thrilled to be once again able to offer consumers the best choice and some of the cheapest deals on the market.”

Tesco Mobile's 24 month N8 tariff includes 750 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data.

Another of the N8 deals at Tesco Phone Shops is on Vodafone which for £30 a month on a 24 month contract, gives 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
