At the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia unveiled to the world their first Windows Phone smartphone with LTE connectivity, the Nokia Lumia 900.

The handset was announced as being on its way to the United States market exclusively on the airwaves of AT&T, but no word on its possible landing on shelves in other countries has been offered.

However, it appears that the device will indeed be released elsewhere too, and that the Carphone Warehouse will have it in stock when that happens.

The retailer has also added the device to its website, and the phone’s landing page suggests that it will be released in June in the UK.

The fact that UK retailers are already getting ready for the release of Nokia Lumia 900 in the country suggests that the device might arrive in other European countries as well.

When launched on the old continent, the new Windows Phone might not sport support for LTE connectivity, the same as in the United States, but it will certainly feature the rest of the hardware specs.

Thus, we will see it landing on shelves with a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display on board, complemented by a fast 1.4GHz application process.

The smartphone also features 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back with support for HD video recording, and a front camera for making video calls.

Other specs of the new device include Corning Gorilla Glass protection for the touchscreen, and an 1830mAh battery inside for increased usage time.

And there are also the services that Windows Phone features, as well as the specific applications that Nokia loads on its new handsets.

“Windows Phone is not only super smooth and easy to use, it also includes Microsoft Office right out of the box,” The Carphone Warehouse explains.

“This means you can edit and create everything from Word to Excel documents, sync with SkyDrive and add multiple Exchange accounts. There's also Nokia Drive, a free GPS navigation app that includes voice guided navigation.”

Update: The retailer has already removed the page from its website, without offering info on the matter.
