Nokia and its partners are getting ready for the release of Lumia 710 on the UK market. Announced for February 1st, the smartphone is already available for pre-order, featuring a price tag of £14.36 ($22.3/17.3 Euros) per month.

Users interested in purchasing it will have to head over to BuyMobilePhones for that. They will be able to choose between contract agreements with Orange, O2, T-Mobile and Vodafone.

Nokia Lumia 710 is available for free on contract agreements starting at £14.36 per month, with 100 minutes, 100 texts and 500MB of mobile data included into the mix.

For a bit more, at £16.17 ($25/19.5 Euros) per month, users will be able to get 600 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of mobile data along with the free Nokia Lumia 710.

Nokia’s Lumia 710 might not be a top-of-the-line Windows Phone smartphone, but it still has a lot to offer to its users. It is the second Windows Phone device from Nokia, which makes it even more appealing.

With Lumia 710 and Lumia 800, its first two Windows Phones, Nokia opened a new door in its evolution. Symbian, the platform it used as its main OS for smartphones, will be sequentially phased out, and Microsoft’s OS will be loaded on all of the company’s future devices.

As Nokia’s first forays into the Windows Phone area, Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 turned out to be high quality devices.

Lumia 710, for example, comes with a 3.7-inch ClearBlack touchscreen display and with a fast 1.4GHz application processor inside. Apparently, Windows 8 can do just fine on this kind of hardware, even if it is not dual-core as in the latest Android devices.

Nokia’s second Windows Phone also packs 8GB of internal memory, without the possibility to expand it. There is also a 5-megapixel photo snapper included into the mix, along with WiFi and HSDPA connectivity capabilities, and a 1300mAh battery for extended usage time.
