Nokia Lumia 800 already made its debut in the UK, but Windows Phone fans who cannot afford to grab this one will be glad to know that the Finnish company plans to release the cheaper Lumia 710 about two weeks from now.

Currently, Nokia Lumia 710 is up for pre-order via major retailer Clove UK for £300 (460 USD or 360 EUR) outright, though Nokia recommends a suggested retail price of £225 (345 USD or 270 EUR) for the smartphone.

Although Clove UK states that the first stock of Lumia 710 is expected to arrive on February 2, the folks over at NokNok have learned that the smartphone will actually be available in the UK one day earlier on the February 1.

The information comes via Nokia UK Mobcast who has revealed that the affordable Lumia 710 will join the superior Nokia Lumia 800 on February 1.

Both Lumia 800 and 710 are the first Windows Phone devices launched on the market by Nokia. The smartphones were unveiled last year at Nokia World, but Nokia fans were promised more devices in the Lumia series.

True to its promise, the Finnish company announced the Lumia 900 earlier this week at the International Consumer Electronics Show, though the smartphone was specifically designed for the North American market.

The cheapest phone in the Lumia series, the Lumia 710 comes with almost similar features as the Lumia 800. However, it sports only a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording and a 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.4 GHz single core Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor and packs 8GB of internal memory and 512 MB of RAM. It also comes with a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution, which integrates Nokia’s ClearBlack technology.
