One of the services that Nokia has decided to bring out on the market is the N-Gage mobile gaming one. This is meant to allow people to test any N-Gage games for free from any of the tens of millions of compatible Nokia devices on the market. If the user likes it, he can choose to purchase and download it on his PC or handset and continue playing.

Mobile gaming is considered to be a promising field to exploit by some of the most important handset producers. Samsung and Sony Ericsson too have had some gaming phone patents approved, which shows that they are also drawn to the potential that this field brings.

Nokia takes it even further, by allowing users to connect with friends and challenge players around the world in order to participate in community activities, part of the N-Gage Arena. All they need is a Nokia Nseries and other S60 3rd Edition devices from this handset producer.

"With the new N-Gage experience, fans of some of our most popular franchises like FIFA or The Sims can play and stay connected with other fans. With millions of compatible Nokia devices already in the marketplace, we're very excited to help bring quality mobile gaming expriences to the fingertips of a global audience" considers Barry Cottle, Senior Vice President and General Manager of EA Mobile.

Support for N-Gage continues to grow with new titles, such as EA Sports FIFA 08, The Sims 2 Pets, Tetris and Tiger Woods PGA Tour. Some new ones have just been added, coming from publishers Capcom and Vivendi, with the well-known Crash Bandicoot and some other new ones, such as Snakes Subsonic and Bounce Boing Voyage.

Nokia N-Gage service will be available globally in November 2007 for download and installation in compatible handsets. The application will later come as a default feature, starting with the new Nokia N81 and Nokia N95 8GB phone models and many others to come in the future.
