A new Symbian^3-based smartphone from Nokia is now available for pre-order for European mobile phone users, namely the Nokia C7, following the pre-sales availability for Nokia N8.

The Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia announced the new device officially only last week, during the Nokia World event in London, and it appears that it is already making the first steps towards having the device available on user's hands.

The new smartphone already emerged on the company's website as available for pre-order in various countries on the old continent, including Germany and the Netherlands, where it sports the price tag of € 429.

As one can imagine, this is the price tag for a handset purchase without a contract agreement, while the contract prices should differ according to carrier and country.

There are no specific details available at the moment on all markets set to receive the new Nokia C7 during the ongoing year, but the UK is a sure bet, as T-Mobile UK already put the phone on its coming soon page.

Moreover, a recent article on e'sPhoneblog notes that Nokia’s Online Store in Finland already made the device available for pre-order with a price tag of € 439 attached to it.

The Nokia C7 is a Symbian^3 based smartphone that should arrive on shelves with about the same features as the high-end Nokia N8, though with a smaller display and a lower price tag.

The handset's specifications list includes a 3.5" touchscreen display, an 8MP camera with dual LED flash, and 8 GB of internal memory, up to 32 GB of external storage space via microSD cards.

The mobile phone comes with WLAN IEEE802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and 3G connectivity options, 3.5 mm AV connector, a BL-5K 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery, and appealing multimedia features.

Support for a series of Ovi services has been packed inside this device too, along with other features more, some of which can be seen detailed here.
