Nokia C7 is the second Symbian^3-based smartphone

from Nokia that made it into the headlines earlier this year, following the official unveiling of the platform and of Nokia N8, the first smartphone to bring the new OS version to the market.

The Nokia C7 was announced officially two days ago and is expected to become available for purchase before the end of the ongoing year, but, until that happens, a closer look at what it has to offer is needed.

In addition to the entire list of hardware specs for this mobile phone, we can also have a look at some of the videos and photos that emerged into the wild with it, as well as at promo clips embedded at the bottom of this article.

The 3.5-inch AMOLED display is one of the main features of the new device, able to deliver a 640 x 360 pixels resolution and complemented by an 8-megapixel photo snapper with dual LED flash and HD video recording.

With 8 GB of mass memory and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32 GB of additional storage space, the new device offers enough storage to fit the needs of anyone out there.

It measures 117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5 mm and weighs in at 130 g, while packing a BL-5K 1200 mAh battery able to offer up to 9.5 hours of talk time or up to 23 days of standby time on GSM (up to 5hours / 27 days on WCDMA).

The new device comes with support for WCDMA 850/900/1700/1900/2100 and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 networks.

On the connectivity side, the phone packs WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, Micro-USB connector, 3.5 mm Nokia AV connector , and HSDPA cat 9 up to 10.2 Mbps, HSUPA cat 5 up to 2.0 Mbps.
