Tray or trayless?

The Nintendo Wii is entertaining in more ways than one, it can amuse you even if it has broken down. Joystiq have an interesting video of a Nintendo Wii spiting out CDs back and forth. The video is hilarious and somewhat more entertaining than most Nintendo games.

So we have a broken Nintendo Wii, one lazy bum's hand and CD, the perfect ingredients for fun. This hand introduces a CD into the Wii, and what does the Wii do? Spits it out! The horror! Imagine what kind of a person this has to be, how much spare time he must have to discover this glitch in the Wii. And most of all film it and show it to the entire gaming community.

Why doesn't he just take that darn broken Wii to a Nintendo repair center to get it fixed?

I bet that a whole argument will start now on whether a trayless disc is better or not. If you were to ask me, I would go for the trayless disc, as it breaks down much, much harder. Imagine the Wii having a tray disk, you leave it on the floor, opened, and your dog comes and lays on it. Snap! That will happen if you have a big dog and not a poor excuse of a dog like Paris Hilton and other air-heads. I'd like to see you explain that to the Nintendo repair center.

A similar tray system with the one that the PS2 has is not too appealing either. Those systems tend to have problems closing after a while and you get annoyed when you have to push them down in order for a game to work.
