Nintendo's download list might have been rather modest in the last few weeks, with very few new titles released, but this week all that changed, as we'll get four new titles for the Wii, five for the DS and even another Virtual Console addition. The first game added to the WiiWare is Blaster Master Overdrive, an action-adventure title in which the protagonist, Alex, is going to have to save the world from a horrible, shape-shifting virus. Infecting the planet's wildlife, the virus has turned all creatures into terrifying monsters, and, with the help of the jack-of-all-trade vehicle, S.O.P.H.I.A, Alex will have to save the world. The game is published by Sunsoft and is priced at 1,000 Wii Points.

Next up is Tomena Sanner, from Konami, a 500-Wii-Point game that will have players sprint toward the finish line. They must direct Hitoshi Susumu, an ever-late businessman, past some of the strangest obstacles, like T-Rexes, cowboys or samurais, and make sure that he gets past them while wasting as little time as possible. The fast-paced side-scroller can be played by up to four people, and, using just one button on the Wii Remote to control Mr. Susumu, the game is approachable by players of all ages.

The third addition to the WiiWare is Bloons, a pretty straightforward puzzler, where gamers have to pop as many balloons as they can, while looking out for special power-ups and balloon types to reach a higher score. The title has over 70 different levels, and, with the addition of a level editor, that number can multiply to infinity. It is published by Hands-On Mobile, which priced it at 500 Wii Points.

The last game to be added to the Wii library this week is Hubert The Teddy Bear Winter Games, a party title that focuses on more accessible winter sports like snow fights, sleigh rides, and Christmas-tree decorating. Making your own teddy bear, down from his tail and up to his nose, dressing him up in an assortment of fashionable accessories, you will be able to confront a bunny brigade in solo mode, or compete against other players, as up to 16 can join in on the fun. The game is published by Teyon and is priced at 500 Wii Points.

As for the Virtual Console, Nintendo has brought this week Hudson Entertainment's NES game, Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom. The Salad Kingdom is going through a turbulent time, with corruption running rampant across its field. Minister Pumpkin has forcefully overthrown the true King Broccoli and even kidnapped Princess Tomato. Sir Cucumber is the only one that can save the salad patch, as he'll have to navigate through several levels using basic commands such as Move, Look, or Talk and win his fights through luck and skill in Rock-Paper-Scissors matches. The game is priced at 500 Wii Points.
