Yesterday, one of Eminem’s most recent tracks surfaced online, an aggressive, foul-mouthed and extremely demeaning tirade directed at Mariah Carey, with whom the rapper has been “feuding” for longer than even fans can remember. “The Warning” was meant as a response to Mariah’s “Obsessed,” and has already been described as “the ultimate diss” for being both considerably explicit and humiliating. It’s Nick Cannon’s turn now to respond to the latest offense, and he’s doing so via Twitter.

This is not the first time that Nick Cannon, Mariah’s husband, stands up to speak in her defense in the Carey-Eminem dispute. However, unlike last time, when he openly challenged the rapper to a “duel” of sorts, saying they should deal with the problem face to face, man to man, Cannon is now turning to philosophy to show Em who the better man is – and he’s doing so by posting a series of sayings and quotes that are supposed to show to the entire world which is the stand he makes.

“This ain’t checkers. This is chess.” Cannon first says in a Twitter post, hinting that there might be an entire strategy to the way he plans to tackle the Eminem issue. He then goes on to post quotes, whose clear purpose is to illustrate that he is above the hate and the meanness Em showed in his latest attack. “Victorious warriors win first then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win. […] Changing the world one hater at a time! Those who feed into negativity must examine there [sic] purpose on this earth. I will permit no man to narrow or degrade my soul by making me hate him. […] Never take your own revenge, but rather give place unto the wrath. For it is written vengeance is mine, I will repay… PREACH! When there are no enemies within the enemies outside can not hurt you! Quote of the day: ‘Never argue with fools because from a distance people cant tell who is who.’” Cannon says on his Twitter page.

As we also informed you yesterday, in “The Warning,” Eminem spares no expense to let Mariah Carey know just how much he loathes her for being a liar, as he calls her. He does the same as regards her “Obsessed” single and accompanying video, where the diva took a shot at him, branding him a stalker who only imagined they had a relationship in the past. What troubles Eminem the most, as he puts it in “The Warning,” is that Mariah would lie about dating him, which is why he even goes as far as to threaten to release personal photos and phone messages from her.

“You probably think since it’s been so long if I had something on you I woulda did it by now, on the contrary, Mary Poppins, I’m mixing our studio session down and sending it to mastering to make it loud, enough dirt on you to murder you, this is what the [expletive] I do... Mariah, it ever occur to you that I still have pictures?” Eminem raps on “The Warning.”
