For this reason, a 17-inch 1920x1200 monitor is housed in the same case as a powerful computing system that can be built around a wide assortment of Core i7 and Xeon 5500 and 5600 processors.

In addition, users can opt for as much as two Xeon CPUs to be installed inside the workstation, up to 48GB of DDR3 ECC RAM memory being available, in this case.

Expandability options are further enhanced by the seven PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots available in the Core i7 machine, while Xeon systems get one PCIe x16, dual PCI Express x8, and one PCI Express x1 slots, as well as two regular PCI slots.

Storage is provided by 15 SATA or 12 SAS 2.5-inch fixed internal hard drives, the maximum data capacity available reaching 7TB.
