Although FM transmitters are not exactly the hottest gadgets you've ever seen (their 'golden age', so to say, has already come and gone), we still happen to come across some interesting product of this type every now and then, and that's exactly the case with the particular model you'll read about as follows, namely the AutoCon, developed by iKit.

So, without a doubt, the main selling point of the AutoCon (we can't help but notice that the name is not exactly a very well-chosen one, prompting us to think that something might be wrong with it) is represented by its touchscreen display, used for controlling its overall functionality.

Beside the display, the AutoCon features a 3.5mm Aux Cable and rapid auto scan technology to play music from your MP3 player through your car radio with good-quality sound and no interference.

Additionally, the AutoCon allows drivers to have full control of the play/pause, volume, track, and skip features of the MP3 player, while also displaying the current song and library selection, guaranteeing clear and simple use.

Also noteworthy is the fact that the AutoCon also integrates a handsfree wireless option to answer incoming calls on your iPhone while driving, thus ensuring the fact that the person behind the wheel remains focused on the road ahead, while still being able to take the call.

Furthermore, iKit’s AutoCharge USB car charger is also bundled with the AutoCon to provide a powerful and rapid charge so that the FM transmitter will never run out of juice.

The AutoCon FM Transmitter is now available in a black finish for $44.95, which, as far as we're concerned, is not exactly a very small price to pay for this thing, especially since, as we've mentioned earlier, we're not exactly seeing such products enjoying a very high level of popularity on the future.
