Owners of mobile phones running under Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system have now a new application available for them for download, bringing great news reading features on devices, namely Fuse.

The new mobile application is a newsreader developed exclusively for devices running under the Windows Phone operating system, one that already received awards for its design and performance in the ‘wp7comp’ competition.

The new mobile software comes with a number of three themes so that users would benefit from personalization options, and also provides great performance capabilities.

Users who would like to try out the new mobile application should know that it can be used without the need of a Google Reader account, and that it works offline as well.

Some of the main features the Fuse newsreader comes with include:

- Add your rss feeds but also youtube channels - Google Reader integration - Group your feeds in categories - share articles with your friends on twitter, facebook or using QR-Code - send to instapaper and read it later. - search new feeds and youtube channel to import them - unified feeds : add your google reader feeds from a category as an unique feeds ! - easily manage and sort your feeds - multiple viewing options: preview, full and mobilized (optimized for phones) - full landscape support (except Ipsum)

With Fuse, users will be able to read articles even when offline, as the app was designed to store data and images on the smartphone. Users can download feeds when online, so that they could be read when offline.

The three themes that the new application comes along with include Ribbon, Ipsum, and Square. The first was designed to display feeds in the form of ribbons, the second is based on typography and allows for the use of gestures to manipulate news, while the last of them brings dynamism into the mix.

Users with Google Reader accounts will also be able to import their feeds and directories, courtesy of integration with the Google Reader.

The application comes with a trial version that is fully functional and which offers access to all capabilities Fuse packs. The application costs $1.29 and can be found in the Windows Phone Marketplace here (Zune link). (via)
