Wicked Audio has come up with some pretty interesting headphone designs over time, and now, the company's back with an entire new lineup, called Wicked Helix, previously showcased (albeit briefly) back at CES 2011.

Given the fact that one of the biggest problems faced by most headphones and earphones out there is represented by their tendency to simply fall out of their users' ears when they're running, leaning forward, etc., Wicked Audio has decided to develop a system that will prevent such an unwanted event from occurring.

This system is called EarHugger technology and allows the Wicked Helix headphones to fit comfortably around one's ear, letting one enjoy a high-quality audio experience without having to worry about the headphones always falling out.

Since we've reached the topic of audio features, we'll also have to mention that Wicked Helix’s have a 10 mm driver and feature maximum noise isolation, which inhibits ambient noise, ensuring pure sound quality.

Moreover, they come packed with a gold-plated 3.5-mm audio connector, designed to prevent damage and corrosion, attached to a 1.2-meter cord (for an enhanced level of freedom), while also being available in three color combinations: Blue/Orange, Magenta/Yellow, and Black/White.

“Wicked Audio is always looking for a way to cater to active consumer’s needs, after all, we endorse a number of extreme sports athletes.” said Paul Marshall, VP of Sales, Empire Brands, adding that “the Helix earphones offer our customers a much-needed solution to rock out to their favorite tunes without any worry of losing your earphones.”

Because any model pertaining to the brand-new Wicked Helix headphones from Wicked Audio sells for just around 15 US dollars, we're pretty sure that they'll enjoy quite an OK level of success, especially since they'll be available via some of the best-known US and international retailers.
