End-users may be well acquainted with the many new processors and video cards that CES 2011 will have on show, but audio solutions are just as important for the ultimate enjoyment of games and multimedia, hence why Empire Bands just revealed its newest headphones.

The past few months have been filled to the brim with new gaming-oriented hardware and full systems.

Not just new video cards, but new motherboards have been launched or revealed, while Intel and AMD have been periodically talking about their respective upcoming processors.

Of course, as far as devices that are already on sale go, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 and AMD's Radeon HD 6900 series are the most noteworthy recent additions, not counting the GTX 580, which is basically the master single-GPU card at the moment.

Regardless, even amidst the strong influx of such devices, audio products have flourished.

One of the most recent ones to be revealed is the Wicked Audio 3D series, which was developed by Empire Brands.

"At Empire Brands, we strive to deliver headphones that feature vibrant colors, superior sound, and trend-setting style," said Paul Marshall, VP of Sales, Empire Brands.

"We are thrilled to unleash our newest collection at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, our designers have crafted the most aesthetically appealing and best sounding wicked headphones to date."

Basically, instead of just focusing on delivering high-quality audio, the researchers put effort into making them aesthetically-pleasing as well.

Of course, the actual sound side of things is still top notch, or so reports say, with what is called 'mind blowing sound' and maximum noise isolation.

The new collection is composed of several members with different color options, though they are otherwise identical, featuring padded earcups and adjustable headbands.

They have not yet started selling, but will become available next month, probably during or immediately after their unveiling at CES, for the price of $29.99.
